Headway – A new roadmap for Brain Health: Focus Epilepsy
“Headway – A new roadmap for Brain Health: Focus Epilepsy” was conceived and launched at the beginning of 2022 by the Think Tank the European House - Ambrosetti in partnership with Angelini Pharma with the aim of creating an expert panel for strategic reflection, analysis, dialogue, and comparison between various European experiences in the management of individuals with epilepsy.
The scope of the initiative is to share knowledge and know-how to prevent, diagnose, manage, and find solutions that reduce the burden of epilepsy not only in the healthcare sector, but also in workplaces, schools, and society in general. The initiative keeps the trajectory and works in continuity and coherence with programs, activities, and strategies of governments and international organisations (such as the WHO) and scientific societies / patient associations / advocacy groups (among others, ILAE, IBE and Epilepsy Alliance Europe), as well as of European institutions, with the objective of contributing to reducing the burden of epilepsy in Europe.
